About Elaine

Elaine has an MBA from Cornell University and established Marmel Enterprises  in 1988. She left her native Chicago for the warmer climes of Arizona  (by way of Cincinnati, Ohio; Jerusalem, Israel; Ithaca, New York; Washington, D.C. and Tampa, Florida) where she basks in the sun with her  PC and her dog, Jack. She enjoys cross-stitching; since completing her "patriotic period" with the Gettysburg Address, she's moved on to a  variety of cross-stitch themes, from samplers to pictures. For example, she completed  the Ten Commandments and the 23rd Psalm, and her series of holiday pictures and elegant ladies incorporates metallic threads and beading as well as silk thread.

Elaine  also enjoys listening to music of all kinds, but especially four-part harmony, which she sang for many years as part of the Toast of Tampa  Show Chorus and the Scottsdale Chorus, both International Champions of  Sweet Adelines International.
